Welcome to Celebrate the Children! Minimize

Welcome

More children are being diagnosed now than in previous years.  We are gaining a better understanding of the foundations of these disorders and how they manifest developmental delays/differences.  Because more children now receive early intervention, there has been an increase in the number of children who require less traditional, special education programs that meet them at their individual developmental level.  We know that there is no end to what these children can achieve.  We also know that one approach does not work for every child, Professionals and Parents need options!

Celebrate the Children (CTC) has been providing services for children with difficulties in relating, communicating and thinking since 1995.  Celebrate the Children is a progressive program based on the Developmental Individual Relationship Based (DIR®) Intervention Model developed by Dr. Stanley Greenspan and Dr. Serena Wieder.  This New Jersey state-approved comprehensive school program uses a dynamic inter-disciplinary approach that prepares students ages 3-21 for success in the 21st Century.

2012 Annual Benefit -

It’s that time of year again…

Celebrate the Children’s Annual Benefit

On Friday, June 15, at the Brownstone in Paterson, Celebrate the Children will hold their 8th Annual Benefit.  Celebrate the Children (CTC) is a state approved, not-for-profit school in Morris County, New Jersey, for children with alternative learning styles.  The school was started in 2004 with 3 students and now has 110 students from 60 different sending districts throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.  CTC offers an array of services to students of all abilities, as well as their families.  We offer Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Counseling, a new After School Program, Enrichment Programs, Parent Training, Parent Support Groups and much more!  We work hard as we continue to expand and enhance our program.

This year’s benefit will include dinner, live music, dancing and a silent auction.  We are currently seeking donations for the silent auction or monetary gifts.  Donations, large or small, are truly appreciated.  With the funds we hope to raise through our Benefit, we would like to further our After School Program, add more Enrichment Programs to our school curriculum, grow our adult programs, expand our building funds and overall enhance what already is a great program.  Celebrate the Children is a fantastic school that works with an inter-disciplinary approach, including staff, students, therapists and families to shape well-rounded, independent individuals.

Thank you for your consideration to donate to this extremely worthy cause.  The school wouldn’t be what it is today without the continued support of sponsors like you!

For more information about the event or our program, please call the school at 973-989-4033.
